Finally! For so many years we fought for marriage equality. Today the Swiss people voted YES! Making Switzerland the second last country in central/western Europe to equalize the rights for homosexual marriage (Italy stands alone).
With 64.1% YES it was a huge success. Not a single Kanton said no. But even though the result makes me happy it still means that 1/3 of the Swiss population is against same rights for homosexuals. This gives me a huge motivation for my project. This shows that there's still a lot of work to be done! So to all of you out there: Be proud of who you are, show it to the world and accept others.
